CableFree Launches new WiMAX Products!

CableFree is proud to announce a range of 802.16 WiMax-compatible products. "CableFreeMax" is the architecture for a new range of WiMax solutions starting with cost-effective all-outdoor CPEs, indoor CPE devices and flexible multi-standard base stations.
CableFree is building on it's extensive range of Pre-WiMax OFDM radios which are now deployed with major carrier, government and corporate customers in many countries worldwide. Already shipping are CableFree's 802.16d "fixed WiMax" solutions including ruggedised and very cost-effective CPE devices. Forthcoming multi-mode multi-standard base stations and other devices will be launched during 2008.

In the following example, multiple CPE-WSR3500’s are used with an IEEE 802.16d WiMax Base Station to form a point-to-multipoint network covering a rural or urban area:
The high-quality performance enables the CableFree CPE-WSR3500 to gain widespread applications. It can be used in diverse situations.
• Create or expand networks via the WiMax CPE in enterprise or residential
applications
• Provide an access to Metropolitan Area Network via WLAN
• Act as a media connecting Base Station and sub-stations in mobile
communicating network
• Provide an access to hard-to-reach areas, including “heritage”
or conservation areas
• Cost-effective connections in challenging environments, like remote
mountain and rural areas
• Build a makeshift network for conferences, sports events or ceremonies
• Link Backup or Emergency Communication
